I'm using your heart rate variability tool to monitor HRV during my treatment sessions. Recently I noticed that EKG signal looks fuzzy compared to what it was before. I'm wondering if this is a hardware problem or something else. Does anybody have this problem?

One of the main factors causing fuzzy EKG signal when monitoring heart rate variability with HRV Live is poor contact between EKG electrodes and skin. If skin is dry, it is a good idea on rubbing it with alcohol swab to remove excessive dirt, oils and dead skin cells. You may also put a drop of conductive gel or even drop of tap water. Another possibility - if you use Biocom 4000 unit for over a year its dry EKG electrodes may become worn out. It is recommended to replace them. Contact our office to get replacement electrodes.
